AT&T first to introduce Microsoft Surface in its retail stores
Posted by: admin in Mobile
AT&T announced that they will be the first company that will bring Microsoft Surface to life in a retail environment. The idea is of course to enhance the customer experience, get more people to visit their stores and hopefully get more business out of it.
Beginning April 17, select AT&T stores in New York City, Atlanta, San Antonio and San Francisco will get the table-shaped personal. If everything goes well (i.e. people love it), AT&T will further expand Surface to other locations.
The interactive touch displays will let customers do what I call the “LEC” thing, where “L” stands for “Learn”, “E” for “Explore” and “C” for “Customize.”
We'll certainly watch how things progress at AT&T with Microsoft Surface deployments and will even try to post a real-world pic from one of their stores as soon as we have the ability to. In the meantime, if you want more details - check out the Surface-dedicate web page at AT&T's website and/or the official press release.
