That's right! Guitar Hero III fans with Windows Mobile smartphones are just a stone's throw away from rocking out to the solo-riffs of their favorite rockstars whenever they please.
lokeuei over at Backstage at MED has dropped the Guitar Hero 3 bomb on faux-rock fans. Magmic is preparing the launch the GH3 gaming title on the Windows Mobile platform in the near future. I can personally attest to the addictive, time-wasting dangers of Guitar Hero III, and the prospect of taking it with me on the road is frightening. On the other hand, ever since I had my ass handed to me by some likely 13-year old in South Korea in an online match, GHIII has lost its appeal - talk about getting discouraged.
Look for Guitar Hero III to be available for purchase for Windows Mobile here. Both subscription and outright-purchase versions will be available.
