Few days ago we posted a series of pics that compare two of the high-end Nokia NSeries devices N95 8GB and N96. We're still in the high-end spectrum, though not that high as the mentioned two devices. It's the N78 and N82 time and we have a new series of pics that show and compare the two devices.
There's no doubt the N82 is a superior camera phone — it has a 5 megapixel camera while the N82 has “only” 3.2 megapixels — but that FM transmitter built inside the N78 does sound tempting. Both devices, though, have somewhat awkward keypads. What do you think and which one you like?

Nokia keeps scoring TIPA's awards for “Best Mobile Imaging Device in Europe.” In 2006, their N80 smartphone won the award, while in 2007, it was the almighty N95. This year, the N82 smartphone “went home” with the prestigious award, arguably thanks to the built-in Xenon-based flash light.
Commenting on the announcement, TIP jurors said: “The Nokia N82 is a compact multimedia computer that integrates GPS, web, video and music functions around a 5 Megapixel camera with a high-speed, f/2.8 autofocus lens. This Carl Zeiss Tessar focuses from 10cm to infinity and produces sharp prints up to and beyond A4 size. Several scene modes are also available to optimize the Nokia N82 for great images, whether shooting portraits or night shots.”

Nokia is reportedly reentering the Korean market it once abandoned. An official at SK Telecom, said that it is negotiating with the Finnish giant on supplying handsets, and Nokia phones could be on sale in SK Telecom stores by the end of the year.
At the moment, South Korean mobile phone market is dominated by four handset makers — Samsung, LG, Pantech, and Motorola — and Nokia's return is prone to cause a great upheaval.
Nokia first entered the Korean market in 2001, but withdrew in January 2003 after a difficult struggle.

Widgetbox has announced its iPhone widget gallery, which “extends the world's largest gallery of widgets to the screens of millions of iPhone users around the world.”
 A range of choose widgets are immediately available in the Widgetbox iPhone Gallery — including widgets for today's top ten most interesting flickr images, the Fake Steve Jobs blog, the Yahoo! News RSS image feeds and the popular Magic 8-Ball widget for on-the-fly advice. In addition, Widgetbox anticipates its community of more than 32,000 developers and widget makers to create new and optimize existing widgets for the iPhone. For them, Widgetbox prepared a short tutorial on how to develop widgets for Apple's handset and iPod Touch.
Commenting on the announcement, Widgetbox's CEO Will Price said: “By hosting a new widget gallery customized for the iPhone, Widgetbox and the widget-making community are able to increase the reach and customization for messages targeted at specific audiences.”
To try out Widgetbox iPhone widgets, simply point Safari from your iPhone or iPod Touch to iphone.widgetbox.com and take it from there.

 Remember the Milk announced the fully functional MilkSync for BlackBerry, allowing the RIM-made device owners to like lists management and synchronization while on the go.
Previously, the MilkSync application was released to the RTM Pro Tester Program users and now, following all bug repairs and feature requests, it's here.
In order to use MilkSync for BlackBerry, it is required that you’ve the RTM Pro account and of course a BlackBerry smartphone. Download the app and you'll be able to take advantage of such features as:
- Two way synchronization (or optionally RTM to BlackBerry, or BlackBerry to RTM)
- Scheduled synchronization (e.g., automatically sync each 15 minutes)
- Include all lists or specific lists from RTM in sync
- Simple access to sync via the menu in the Tasks application
As a huge Remember The Milk user I can't encourage you enough to sign-up for the Pro account. It's well worth 20 bucks a year and in addition it helps RTM team keep doing their thing.

 We've already covered Blyk in the past and we're glad to report their business model works, as the free, ad-supported mobile operator for the 16-24 year olds just announced that it has reached 100,000 members.
According to Blyk, members have embraced their concept so rapidly that annual member targets have been reached six months ahead of schedule. This in turn has established Blyk as a powerful new media for connecting advertisers with young people. Apparently, an average response rates on Blyk is 29%, “at a time when trust in other forms of mass advertising is falling.”
Blyk also plans to expand in the Netherlands in the second half of 2008.

The Mad Catz PS2 wireless controller is the single worst thing that mankind has ever created (and I state that without hyperbole). The third celebration peripheral maker is continuing its commitment to producing wretched crap with a whole host of pointless Wii Fit accessories. This is because everyone loves a company that tries to cash-in by producing lazy and rubbish nonsense for other peoples’ creations.
A rechargeable battery pack, a travel/storage case, an exercise mat and protective cover are all set to be released by Mad Catz. The company claims that “each product has been thoughtfully designed to enhance and maximize exercise regimes.” Can someone explain to me how any one of these four mentioned products can do that? Short of shoving the battery pack up some guy’s ass and telling him you’ll plug it in if he doesn’t drop and give you twenty, I fail to see how these items can maximize one’s exercise potential.
Shockingly poor.

When a console has been out for more than a year, you can usually anticipate a price cut on the horizon. Both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have had prices lowered since launch, but the Wii laughs at them, keeping its cost and still outselling the pair of them. Nintendo has no plans to change that either.
“Our earnings projection for the year is not based on hardware price cuts, and I don’t think we are going to need them,” said Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, possibly while laughing hysterically, shooting off bottle rockets and riding a golden donkey on a floor crafted from naked, writhing 18-year olds. Just because he could do that, if he wanted.
