Konami bringing DanceDanceRevolution to Mobile via Exit Games
Posted by: admin in MobileKonami's upcoming version of DDR (DanceDanceRevolution) is set for Multiplayer - on Mobile!
Multiplayer games haven't exactly set the Mobile gaming world alight before now, but apparently Exit Games's Neutron engine grants for lots of clever real-time multiplayer shenanigans.
Konami has licensed the engine so that the mobile DDR will allow you to dance off against friends in real-time directly from your mobile as well as upload your score for friends to see on the online leaderboards.
I am not so sure on this one - with a games that depends so much on accurate timing, the latencies of wireless must surely prove a massive obstacle - it will be very interesting to see how the games copes with this…..
