Rock Band getting 'Rockin' the Holidays 2008' downloadable track pack next week screenshot

After complaining about the lack of holiday songs in music games, Harmonix and MTV Games have revealed to MTV Multiplayer that next week’s Rock Band update will fill that gaping hole.

The “Rockin’ the Holidays 2008″ track pack will include three songs — “Hanukkah Blessings” by Barenaked Ladies, “Christmas Is The Time To Say I Love You,” by Billy Squier, and The Prentenders’ cover of “Blue Christmas.” The pack will be available on December 23, just in time for Christmas; even though MTV Multiplayer doesn’t mention any pricing, something tells me it’s not going to be free … even though this is the season for giving, guys.
