It’s nearly 2009 and videogames still accept cheat codes? F**k yes! Today’s consoles have dropped so many retro sensibilities that it’s refreshing to hear not all was lost from the transition to high definition.
Since this is obviously the most important and breaking news we will see this day, I’ll quit stalling and give you the precious cheat codes for Boom Blox that EA waited eight months to release.
At the title screen for Boom Blox, hit up, right, down, and then left on the d-pad. Next, you’ll be able to enter in the following codes using the on-screen keyboard:
- “Pandoras Blox” – Unlocks all levels in the game
- “Tool Pool” – Unlocks all the toys in Create Mode
- “Nonstop Props” – Unlocks all the props in Create Mode
- “Critter Litter” – Unlocks all the characters in Create Mode
Frankly, this is nothing more than a ploy to boost Boom Blox awareness and/or help those of us who can’t unlock all of the levels, but it’s a ploy I’m willing to stand behind. Boom Blox is one of the few Wii games that can hold my attention, and I think everyone here should run out and get a copy while they still can.
