Target has announced today that on April 19, it will begin a new videogame reservation program in their stores nationwide. You can now buy a “collectible reservation card” for $1; when the card is returned to pick up the reserveration within seven days of the games release, you get a $5 Target GiftCard towards a future buy.

This deal will only apply to certain games, however. The program kicks off with Punch Out!!, EA Sports Active, Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, and UFC 2009 Undisputed.
