Even though I loved the look of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, I found I was never able to get into it the way I wished I could have. Maybe I’ll have that chance again now that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord is finally coming out. The game will be available starting July 17th, and puts you in the shoes of Mira, daughter of the Darklord and the gal responsible for keeping goody two shoes heroes out of her tower.

The game will cost 1000 Wii points and is considered a real-time strategy title. You can see of a few gameplay screens in the gallery. I’m a sucker for both tower defense and cutesy evil, so i have a feeling I may be spending a few hours with this one after it comes out. Look interesting to you, or not your thing?
