You know those little stickers on your bananas? You never really look at them, do you? You just throw them away with the banana peel and go about your business. Understanding that, wouldn’t a banana sticker be the worst spot to place advertising?

Sega and Chiquita, the banana company, are doing it anyway. Be on the lookout for over 180 million bananas coming to grocery stores near you, as they’ll feature a sticker promoting Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll, the Wii game. And in a stranger cross promotion, the branded banana will be featured in the game. Again, WTF?

Healthy snacking is being promoted, of course.
